With the big night Thursday, the Golden Hawks are now 8-1 in duals since Christmas. After the meet Callahan, a senior, talked about his unbeaten night, and the team’s great second half of the dual season. “It’s fun to be back, I missed it. I took some time off to let my shoulder heal after a football injury. Now that I’m back I feel 100%. Not a lot stands out about my matches tonight, they are just another ankle band as my dad would say. The way the team is going right now feels good. It’s a lot better than my freshman year when we weren’t winning any duals because we didn’t have the numbers.”
Mid-Prairie is now 12-7 overall. They will travel to the WACO Invitational Saturday.
