Keokuk County Bowl featured a pair of area bowling teams on Wednesday with Sigourney-Keota and Washington also competing with Davis County in a triangular.
The Demon boys missed a first place showing by 32 pins with the Mustangs accounting for 2,454 to edge out Washington’s 2,422. The Cobras placed third with 2,185. Washington’s Ethan Zieglowsky reigned supreme once again with a first place bowl of 437 including a 226 high game. Quentin Howard placed fourth with 332, Caleb Zieglowsky rolled a 307, Cole Anderson had 271, Ismat Abdurahimov 268, and Cashden Pepper 241. S-K’s Landyn Greiner paced them with a 327 in fifth, Ty Krueger had 305, Brock Alderson 274, Corren Freel 266, Seth Donald 233, and Jordan Shadley 190. Baker games count included Davis County 884, Washington 807, and Sigourney-Keota 780.
The Mustang girls made it a clean sweep with 1,954 pins, the Cobras were in second with 1,647, and three Demon bowlers accounted for 898 pins. S-K was led by a third place showing from Samantha Bombei with 244, Jayden Montgomery had 218, Addison Richardson 200, Lily Vanvoltenburg 179, and Sofya Lobzova 176. Washington’s Leigha Heisdorffer tallied a 236, Emma Chenoweth 177, and Emma Loeffler 158. The baker game scores included S-K with 930, Davis County with 657, and Washington with 327.
