Funeral service for 72-year-old Daniel “Grizz” Richard of Mount Pleasant will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, January 26 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church in rural Wayland. Burial will follow in the Sugar Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 25 at Sugar Creek Mennonite Church. A memorial fund has been established for the Brighton Fire Department. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant is caring for Daniel and his family.
