Luck wasn’t on the Prince of Peace Irish side on Saturday when the Winfield-Mt. Union boys’ basketball team rolled in a 63-29 non-conference bout against the Tri-Rivers opponent.

The home Wolves wasted no time settling in by jumping out to a 17-2 advantage after one and 34-10 lead at the break with the margin never getting any closer. The Wolves shot 59% as a team and assisted on 21 of 24 made field goals. Abram Edwards recorded another double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Jake Edwards was five of seven from deep to finish with 15 points and Cam Buffington added 14.

Prince of Peace drops to 2-11 while WMU moves to 14-1. They put their 11-0 SEISC mark on the line tomorrow against second place Mediapolis (11-3, 10-1).
