A trip south to Keokuk at Arrowhead Bowl was the mission for the Washington bowling teams on Tuesday for a triangular against the host Chiefs and West Burlington.
The Demon boys placed second with a score of 2,418 to beat out West Burlington’s 2,245 pins, but less than Keokuk’s 2,899. Ethan Zieglowsky added another meet title to his name with a two-game series of 479 including a high game of 248. Caleb Zieglowsky was next in line for the orange and black in sixth with 349, Cole Anderson recorded a 315, Quentin Howard 278, and Ismat Abdurahimov 216. Baker game totals included the Chiefs with 937, the Demons with 781, and the Falcons had 728. The Washington girls had just two bowlers that compiled 717 pins. Keokuk won with 2,875 pins and West Burlington had 1,544. Leigha Heisdorffer recorded a 307 series and Tatum Peterson managed 207.
Washington will next be in competition on Monday in Fairfield.
