The final dual meet of the year was last night for the Washington wrestling team with the Demons dropping a pair of duals at Williamsburg.

The Demons were on the wrong side of a 48-28 score against Oskaloosa and 54-21 final with the host Raiders. Washington went 9-12 in contested matches on the evening with the big boys doing a bulk of the work. Colley Billingsly pinned both of his opponents at 220 lbs in 4:51 and 4:12 while Brayden Hartman did the same at 285 lbs in 48 seconds and 2:31. Aaron Boone recorded a pin (1:23) and kept his undefeated record intact with an exciting 6-5 decision against Williamsburg’s Gavin Jensen. Other victorious Demons on the night included Jace Sanders at 113 lbs, Fredy Aguilar at 138 lbs, and Chase Greiner at 160 lbs.

The regular season dual record closes at 13-8 for the black and orange. They return to the mat tomorrow in Fairfield for the Southern Iowa Classic.
