The Hillcrest Academy girls will host the New London Tigers Friday in the Southeast Iowa Superconference Shootout event. Hillcrest comes in with a 1-17 mark on the season and are 0-15 in conference after a 50-44 loss to rival Lone Tree on senior night Thursday. Hillcrest finished in ninth place in the north division of the Superconference. The Ravens score 28 points per game and give up 49, shooting 26% from the floor with 24 rebounds, three assists and six steals per night. Esther Hughes leads Hillcrest with 14 points, six assists and two steals per game.

New London finished ninth in the Superconference south division with an 0-21 overall and record and 0-16 league mark. They were beaten by Burlington Notre Dame Thursday 67-25. On the year the Tigers are averaging 27 points per game and giving up 62 while shooting 36% from the floor with 20 rebounds, six assists and five steals per night. Natalie Burden leads the scoring column for New London at seven points per game, Mylee Miller has a team best four rebounds per night. Action gets underway tonight at 6p.m. at Hillcrest Union.
