A Washington man charged with felony domestic abuse was arrested on several driving offenses Tuesday.
The Washington County Communications Center states at 11:11 p.m. a Washington police officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South 9th Avenue and East Washington Street when the vehicle took off. Additional officers and a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy responded and 25-year-old Odilio Gregorio Gutierrez was arrested for operating while intoxicated first offense and eluding. He was also cited for failure to provide proof of insurance, driving without a license, careless driving, open container, and was issued written warnings for plate lamps and registration violations. Juvenile passengers were returned to their residence, and the vehicle was towed. Gutierrez was arrested last November for domestic abuse assault impeding air or blood flow causing bodily injury, a class D felony. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
