The Southeast Conference bowling meet was held at Arrowhead Bowl in Keokuk on Tuesday with Washington wrapping up the regular season. 

The Demon boys nabbed fourth place in the conference with 2,327 pins while Keokuk won it all with 2,861. Ethan Zieglowsky had the top Demon score of 425 to place third and he recorded a 224 high game. Keokuk’s Blake Hemann and Mount Pleasant’s Jonathan Fortin tied for the top spot with a 451 two-game series. Caleb Zieglowsky cracked the top 10 for the orange and black in ninth with 354. Other Washington tallies included Cole Anderson 282, Ismat Abdurahimov 243, and Quentin Howard 235. The team’s baker game count was 788. 

The Washington girls had just three bowlers and recorded a fifth place score of 1,005. The host Chiefs swept the team competition with 2,774. Leigha Heisdorffer paced the squad with 271, Emma Chenoweth had a personal high of 254, and Tatum Peterson finished with 161. Washington had 319 for their baker game count.

Both Demon teams now gear up for state qualifier on Tuesday in Camanche.
