One person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck northeast of Washington Thursday.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office states at about 3 p.m. Ingrid Buster of Morning Sun was driving a Lexus RX350 eastbound on 190th Street when she failed to obey the stop sign intersection with Riverside Road and struck a northbound Chevy Impala driven by Glen Gingerich of Riverside. Both vehicles came to rest in the northeast ditch of the intersection. Washington County Ambulance Service transported one person to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. A citation for failure to yield at a stop sign is pending for Buster. Moore’s Towing towed both vehicles from the scene. Riverside Fire and QRS, Washington Fire Department, and Washington County Rescue also responded.
