Three people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck southwest of Crawfordsville Thursday morning.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office states at about 7:27 a.m. icy road conditions contributed to a wreck on Fern Cliff Road near 315th Street. Jackie Lynn Brown of Wayland was driving a Chevy Malibu and Sedrick Sandford Cavin of Ainsworth was driving a Dodge Durango in opposite directions when they lost control of their vehicles at the curve and collided. Both vehicles were totaled and three people were transported by Washington County Ambulance Service to Washington County Hospital and Clinics for treatment of minor injuries. No citations were issued, but Cavin was given a written warning for expired registration. Crawfordsville Fire and QRS, Washington County Rescue, and Moore’s Towing assisted at the scene.
