KCII listeners can start planning on summer activities while reaping the savings during the Spring Home Shopping Extravaganza on air this week.

KCII will be selling discounted items, gift certificates, and experiences live on air from local businesses and organizations across southeast Iowa. General Manager Joe Nichols says the sky is literally the limit for what the extravaganza offers, “And it’s a variety of things from boutiques and shops to skydiving to some appliances, getting back into going to ball games and the zoo. I mean all these things are kind of starting to come back together for people to have a lot of fun this summer. So [I’m] very excited about where we’re headed with this and glad to see some of the people that due to some of the COVID things were unable to participate in previous years back on board.”

Listeners can call in Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. and during a bonus hour from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, and check the home shopping page each day for an updated shopping list to choose from. Items can then be picked up from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-noon at 110 East Main Street in Washington.
