A search is underway for a motorist following an incident with a school bus driver Monday in Jefferson County.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received reports at approximately 4:30 p.m. of an incident that occurred between a school bus driver and a passing truck. A passenger in the truck threw a drink at the school bus nearly striking the bus driver in the head through an open window. No children were on the bus at the time of the incident. The truck is described as a 2007-2014 white Chevrolet 2500 lifted diesel truck with large chrome wheels and tinted windows. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for any information on the vehicle or the occupants involved. Those with any information are asked to contact the Jefferson County Law Center.
