The postseason awards are coming in for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls basketball team. The River Valley Conference released their all-conference teams for the recent season and three Hawks made the cut.
Mid-Prairie senior Maddie Nonnenmann was named an Elite All-River Valley selection. Nonnenmann ended the year seventh in Class 3A with a team best 16 points per game. She finished fourth on the all-time Golden Hawk scoring list with 1,066 career points. She averaged five rebounds, two assists and two steals per night.
Junior Amara Jones was an All-RVC South pick. Jones finished ninth in class 3A with three and a half steals per night to go along with five rebounds, four assists and 10 points per game. Her 94 total assists were second in the RVC.
Sophomore Nora Pennington was an honorable mention River Valley selection. Pennington averaged five points per game to go along with three steals, two rebounds and an assist per contest.
The Golden Hawks ended the year with a 15-9 overall record in the regional final round of the Class 3A tournament.
