The Washington Demon and Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk archery programs traveled to Cardinal last weekend for the Mike Davis Memorial Bullseye and 3D tournaments. The high school Demons won the bullseye tourney with a 3295 team score. Jonathan Moore was the individual boys champion with a 289 and 21 tens. Avery Marner finished as the individual girls runner-up with a score of 280 that included 19 tens. In 3D the Demon high school team was fifth of six with their score of 1545, team champs were Cardinal on their home course with a 1631. Moore led the Demons on the 3D side finishing fourth in the overall boys standings with a 272 that included 12 tens. Marner was also the girls leader for Washington, taking 25th with a 244 that included 10 tens.

The Washington Middle Schoolers were the bullseye champions with a 3167 score. Ryen Pepper won the individual girls title with a 277 that included 15 tens. Josh Anderson was the top Washington boy with a 270 that included 13 tens for fourth overall. In 3D the Demons were team runners-up with a 1541, behind Cardinal’s 1555. Johannah Halvorson had the top girls score, finishing overall runner-up with a 261 that included five tens. Braydon Clough was the top Demon boy with a 258 that included 12 tens for fourth overall.

The Lincoln Elementary Demons won the bullseye contest with a 2892 team score. Hunter Barnes was the boys champion with a 261 score that included nine tens. Lyric Hotle had the top girls score with a 233 with six tens for third. The Lincoln Demons were also the 3D team champs with a 1365. Bella Venenga was the individual girls champ with a 224 that included three tens. Mason Pierce had the top boys day with a 244 that included five tens for third overall.

The Mid-Prairie High School archers were fifth of five teams in the bullseye shoot with a 3092. Zane Fisher was overall boys runner-up with a 285 day that included 19 tens. Zoe Fisher was fourth in the girls contest with a 277 and 10 tens. Mid-Prairie was third of six in the team 3D standings with a 1574. They were led by the Fishers there as well with Zane and Zoe both finishing as runners-up in their divisions. Zane finished with a 280 and 16 tens, Zoe a 274 with 11 tens.

The Golden Hawk Middle Schoolers wEre fifth of five schools with their 3092 bullseye team score. Top shooters for the Hawks included individual boys champ Elijah Statler with his round of 274 with 13 tens. Avery Janecek had the top girls score with a 261 that had six tens to take ninth. The Hawks were third of five in the 3D contest with a 1459. Tommy Miller was the top boys score and finished as overall runner-up with a 273 that included 14 tens. Jaiden Lara was best for the Golden Hawk girls and 16th overall with a 231 that included three tens.
