Polls will be open Tuesday for the Mid-Prairie School District bond referendum special election.

Washington County residents can cast an absentee ballot at the Washington County Auditor’s Office  until 5 p.m. Monday, and mailed absentee ballots can be dropped off at the auditor’s office until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Washington County’s locations for the Kalona and Wellman precincts will be at the Kalona Community Building and the Wellman Parkside Activities Center. Johnson County voters will go to the Mid-Prairie Home School Education Center or Sharon Center United Methodist Church. Iowa County voters will go to Parnell City Hall.
