One person was injured in a single vehicle collision that occurred on the United Presbyterian Home campus in Washington Monday.

Iowa State Patrol states at about 9:15 a.m. 87-year-old Ferdinand Joseph Marie of Washington was driving a GMC Yukon southbound on Elm Lane when for unknown reasons Marie left the roadway and crashed into an occupied residence. The Yukon completely entered the residence and struck an occupant before coming to rest inside the structure. One person was transported by Washington County Ambulance Service to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The collision remains under investigation. Washington police and fire departments also assisted at the scene. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
