Hillcrest Academy Raven Seth Ours was better than any other player in the state at the free throw line this season. Ours, a freshman, finished the year with a 94.4%  mark at the stripe, best in the state regardless of class. He misssed one free throw this season out of 18 attempts. His closest competition in class 1A came from Toryn Severson of Madrid, another freshman, who shot 90.3%. Ours was able to edge out Dallas Center-Grimes senior Jackson Jones, his closest competition in any class, who finished at 94.1% at the line. The Ravens ended the season with a 15-7 overall record.
