Two Washington residents turned themselves in on warrants for child endangerment early Saturday morning.
Court documents show that on January 13th the Washington Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 500 block of South Avenue D. There was a 13-month-old minor located in one of the upstairs bedrooms, where officers found two packages labeled as “Marijuana Skittles,” and five prescription pills later identified as Alprazolam were located unsecured on a table beside a bed where the minor slept. A loaded handgun was also located on the windowsill near the bed. The Washington Police previously executed a search warrant at the residence in May of 2021. Twenty-year-old Samantha Brielle Harrill and 18-year-old Harley Dwayne Miller both face an aggravated misdemeanor child endangerment charge. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
