
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks went for quality over quantity at Monday’s Dickinson Relays in Cedar Falls to kick off the girls indoor track season. Mid-Prairie sent just two athletes, in only three events, but brought home two championships. Mitzi Evans was tremendous in her first time on the track. The Golden Hawk senior won the 400 with a time of 58.34 seconds and made it double gold with a title in the 800 in 2:20.74. Tabitha Evans competed in the 200 with a time of 28.56 seconds taking 23rd and took 58th in the 400 with a time of 1:08.86.
