The Kalona Library will open its doors Saturday to those looking for a good book and a good deal at their annual spring book sale. The sale begins at 9:30 a.m. with Friends of the Library organization members getting the chance to browse before everyone during an Early Bird Session from 9-9:30 a.m. Hardcover books and audiobooks, CD’s and DVD’s are $1 each, and paperbacks are 50 cents each. The library will then hold a bag sale beginning the following Monday for the next week or two. For $5 the public can fill up any bag they bring.

Friends of the Library memberships can be purchased anytime at the library or during the book sale. Cost is $5 per individual, $10 for a family and $25 for a business or benefactor. All proceeds from the sale benefit the Friends of the Library Organization.
