We’ll lose one hour of sleep tonight but the Ainsworth Fire Department will take care of your breakfast tomorrow.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins Sunday morning, meaning clocks will be set one hour forward and the sun will rise and set an hour later. The public is also recommended to check your batteries in your home’s smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The Ainsworth Fire Department then welcomes you to drive up for their biscuits and gravy breakfast fundraiser Sunday morning. Attendees are asked to enter the fire station parking lot from the west on Highway 92 and not to exit your car. The breakfast lasts from 8 a.m.-noon with a freewill donation accepted to go toward the department’s future projects.
