One year ago, Washington County Hospital and Clinics opened the doors to its Columbus Junction Clinic to serve the residents of Louisa County. The clinic has handled more than 3,500 patient visits, employs three different providers – MDs Debbie Gibbs and James Schlichtmann and ARNP Danielle Woepking – has bilingual staff members to reduce communication barriers and has expanded hours of operation to offer services five days per week.
WCHC is hosting an open house at the Columbus Junction Clinic Wednesday, March 16th from noon to 1:30p.m. to highlight the occasion. Community members are invited to join the staff for gifts and refreshments. The clinic is located at 109 Walnut Street in Columbus Junction.
