Saturday, Burlington Notre Dame High School hosted the 2022 Southeast Iowa Senior All-Star Games. Events included a boys and girls basketball scrimmage, three point contests and a dunk contest.

In scrimmage action the girls Silver Team got the victory over the Gold Team 53-43. The Silver Team included Hillcrest Academy’s Esther Hughes. Columbus’ Libby White and Winfield-Mt. Union’s Jobey Malone played on the Gold Team. Hughes not only was on the winning side of the scrimmage, but she brought home the three point contest title, beating Hallie Mohr of Mediapolis 10-7 in the finals.

The boys game was taken by the Silver Team 108-78. Zach Schmitz of WACO played on the Silver Team while Konner Wade of Winfield-Mt. Union and Trevor McFarland and Chase Schultz of Highland were on the Gold Team. Schmitz also competed in the dunk contest. WMU’s Konner Wade was beaten in the finals of the three point contest.
