The court will be full at the Wellman YMCA, with those hooping it up rolling up and down the floor. Adaptive Sports Iowa is hosting a 3-on-3 wheelchair basketball fundraiser event Saturday, March 26th. Adaptive Sports, based in Ames and founded in 2011, is an organization founded to promote, educate and organize sports and recreation opportunities for Iowans with physical disabilities.

Cost is $25 per person to enter with three to five players on a team with wheelchairs provided by Adaptive Sports. Format will be pool play with pools A and B taking the court in the first half of the day beginning at noon and pools C and D in action the second half of the day.
