One student each from Highland, Lone Tree and Winfield-Mt. Union High Schools will be on the stage at the Iowa High School Speech Association’s Individual State Contest.

Highland’s Brendan Schnoebelen will be behind the mic in the Radio News Announcing Category.

Winfield-Mt. Union’s Griffin Humphreys will join Schnoebelen in the Radio News Announcing contest and also participate in Storytelling.

Lone Tree’s Kylie Patterson will be at state in the Prose contest.

Those three will be joined by Washington’s Molly Klinzman, and Mid-Prairie’s Haydon Bailey, Olivia Caskey, Logan McClellen, Jack Greiner and Avery Slaubaugh.

The All-State Festival is set for March 28th on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
