A Washington man charged with felony domestic abuse now faces additional charges.
The Washington County Communications Center states 25-year-old Odilio Gregorio Gutierrez-Guzman was arrested on a local warrant by the Washington Police Department early Saturday morning. Gutierrez-Guzman is charged with introducing intoxicants or drugs into an institution, a class D felony, and possession of a controlled substance first offense, a serious misdemeanor. Bond was set at $6,000 cash only. On February 9th, Gutierrez-Guzman was in custody at the Washington County Jail for operating while intoxicated first offense and eluding, both serious misdemeanors when a partial plastic bag containing a white powder substance was located on him during a search in the pre-booking room. The substance later tested positive for .16 grams of cocaine. He currently is charged with domestic abuse assault impeding air or blood flow causing bodily injury and domestic abuse assault first offense, a serious misdemeanor, for incidents that allegedly occurred in November and July of last year.
