A Mount Pleasant man is facing felony charges for an incident that occurred in the fall of 2020. Two arrest warrants were executed Wednesday for 55-year-old Gerald Dean Kite on charges of first Degree Theft, a Class C Felony, and Unauthorized Use of a Credit Card for an amount over $1,500 but not more than $10,000, a Class D Felony. The initial incident occurred on the afternoon of October 5th of 2020 with English River Outfitters of Washington listed as the victim with Kite attempting to take property from the business. Kite was transported to the Washington County Jail on $10,000 bond. KCII will bring you more information when it becomes official.
