The Keota School District Show Choir Eaglerock! didn’t exactly take a break this spring. The troop traveled south to Universal Studios in Florida to perform their show. This is the 10th straight year, under the direction of Jane Fort Edwards, the group has performed at the venue. This year’s set included hits from The Script, Styx and Dire Straits. Along with the performance and day at Universal Studios, students and families spent a total of four days in the sun taking in the sites including Sea World, the Kennedy Space Center, and the beach before flying home. Eaglerock! also performed at Central Lee, Cedar Rapids Washington, Cedar Rapids Jefferson and the Iowa High School Music Association Show Choir Festival this spring. The group has one final performance left in their season, the spring concert set for Wednesday, April 27th at Keota High School.
