The Washington Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors celebrated the relocation and 10th anniversary of a local business Monday.

A ribbon cutting was held for Chuck’s Cycle, now located at 307 East 5th Street. Owner Chuck Dunning moved into the commercial space at the beginning of February, and he says his new location is a large improvement from the 720 square-foot garage he previously used for the last decade at his home, “Before as some of you know I had to push all these out so I could work and then I had to push them all back in and in 2,400 square foot I’ve got a lot more room. So I don’t have to do that but with 720, the bikes looked like they were stacked up, literally, they were as close as you could get them.”

Dunning specializes in Harley Davidson motorcycles, and his services include routine maintenance for most motorcycles as well as complete bike builds and repairs. He mentioned that he still has much work to do to furbish his new garage, but he looks forward to serving customers from across southeast Iowa for years to come.
