A Wellman man was arrested on three warrants Friday.
The Washington County Communications Center states at 7:47 a.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of 5th Street and and 6th Avenue in Wellman and arrested 35-year-old Enrique Eulloqui Avila for driving under suspension, no seat belt, failure to use a child restraint device, and no valid insurance. He was also arrested on an Iowa County warrant for failure to appear, and warrants from the Iowa State Patrol and Iowa Department of Transportation for charges out of Washington County. He’s charged with forgery, a class D felony, tampering with records, an aggravated misdemeanor, and false application for license or ID card, a serious misdemeanor. Bond was set at $8,000 for the DOT warrant. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
