A man who was wanted for over a year for probation violation in Washington County was located Friday.

The Washington County Communications Center received a call from Mount Pleasant reporting 44-year-old John Edward Walling, Jr. was located on two Washington County warrants. He was wanted for failure to appear for a child support hearing and violation of probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. Walling was transported to the Washington County Jail to be held on $11,000 bond. He was previously arrested in Washington County in December of 2020.
