Meeting up with a lot of South Iowa Cedar League programs, the Sigourney track teams competed in the Lynnville-Sully Coed meet on Tuesday.
The Savage girls placed fifth out of eight teams with 72 points while Colfax-Mingo won the team title with 138. The team had one event champion on the evening with Reagan Clarahan besting the field in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:19. Reanah Utterback was second in the 3000m (13:24) and fourth in the 1500m (6:15) while Carly Goodwin was third in the 800m (2:59). The Sigourney boys placed eighth with 19 points and Pleasantville won it all with 134. Peyton Leathers was fifth in the 400m (1:00) and Karson Weber was sixth in the 100m (12.21).
