A Fairfield man was recently arrested for alleged sexual abuse and harboring a runaway.
Court documents show that at about 10:57 p.m. April 4th, the Fairfield Police Department received a report that 35-year-old Wayne Lee Wickenkamp was having sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female. Officers located Wickenkamp’s residence and upon speaking with him officers detected a marijuana odor. When asked, Wickenkamp stated he knew nothing of a runaway juvenile and denied she was at the residence. While securing the residence prior to applying for a narcotics search warrant, officers located the minor hiding in a closet, and she admitted to engaging in sexual intercourse in exchange for marijuana. Wickenkamp faces class C felony and aggravated misdemeanor charges, and was transported to the Jefferson County Jail on $10,000 cash or surety bail. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
