ChopLocal, based in Wayland, has been awarded $25,000 to increase access to their online marketplace for meat producers and customers. Total estimated cost of the project is $58,500. Other business receiving funding include Stensland Creamery near Larchwood, Country View Dairy near Hawkeye, Austin Schulte near Norway, Kerns Farms near Clearfield, T-A Family Premium Meats in Marquette, SkyView Farms near Nora Springs, Iowa Food Hub in Waukon, Franklin Street Brewing Company in Manchester, Whitetail Valley Farm near Stanton, Local Harvest CS near Solon, Clear Sky Flowers in Leon and Brun Ko Farm near Exira.
