columbus-wildcats

The Columbus Community soccer teams traveled to Mediapolis on Thursday for a Southeast Iowa Super Conference doubleheader and the Bulldogs walked away with a sweep.

The Wildcat boys did not have enough offense in a 3-1 loss to the first place Bulldogs (6-2). Javier Panchillo had the lone Wildcat goal in the first half to make the score 2-1 at the break. Columbus dropped to 2-2 on the season. The girls were shutout in the conference bout by a 2-0 count in favor of Mediapolis (3-3). The blue and white fall to 0-7 after the loss.
