The Mid-Prairie girls golf team took advantage of the rare pleasant weather Thursday, hosting their home 18-hole invitational at the Kalona Golf Course. The Hawks were third of 10 competing teams with their overall score of 407. Williamsburg took the team championship with their 393. The Raiders Teagan Schaffer was the individual medalist with a round of 88, West Branch’s Claire Jarrett claimed medalist runner-up with a 90. Gabi Robertson led the Golden Hawks with her day of 101, finishing ninth individually. Other top Hawks included Addison English with a 102 for 10th overall, Madi Davidson’s 103, Alexa Huber at 107, Madelyn Bender with a 110 and Elliot Debler 114.
