The Washington girls golf team traveled to the Edmundson Golf Course in Oskaloosa Thursday and made it their own. The Demons crushed the competition taking home the team title with their overall score of 365. Winterset was a distant second place with a 409. Two Demons took the top individual spots with Makenna Conrad winning meet medalist honors with an 80 and Kaylin Long runner-up with an 83. Other Washington scores included Alecia Goff 96, Maci Williams 106, Mallary Johnson 108 and Haley Mitchell 115.
The Sigourney girls also competed at Osky on Thursday. The Savages were fifth of 14 schools with a 421. Top Sigourney round came from Madelyn Hornback in fourth with an 89. Other scores for the Savages included Maizy Cowman 104, Claire Svenby 112, Reggie Talbert 116, Zoe Web 126, and Julia Van Ee 134.
