Spring signals the start of construction season with a project on Vine Avenue in Washington County that begins next week. On Monday, Bargen, Inc. of Mountain Lake MN will begin maintenance work on a 6.7-mile stretch of Vine Avenue, or Old Highway 218, from County Road G36 to south of Crawfordsville. Plans involve crack sealing and maintenance, and motorists are warned that this maintenance will be extremely dusty and dirty work.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the construction zone and pay attention to signage and workers in the area. Work is expected to be completed in about a week, weather permitting.
