The Sigourney girls track and field team competed at the Bear Classic Relays Friday at BGM. The Savages were fifth of seven teams with 71 points. East Marshall won the meet with 122 points. Sigourney had one championship event on the night with the distance medley team of Iana Thomas, Carly Goodwin, Erin Dawson and Reanah Utterback finishing in 5:11.30. Other top finishes included second for Reagan Clarahan in the 400 hurdles, McKinley Chittick in the high jump, the shuttle hurdle team of Dawson, Hannah Hanselman, Mason Clarahan and Rain Barthelman and the sprint medley team of Barthelman, Sophie Whitmore, Reagan Clarahan and Goodwin. Reanah Utterback was third in the 1500, Barthelman was third in the 400 hurdles and Dawson third in the high jump.
