Friday afternoon, an assault was reported by staff of the Washington County Jail. An inmate was transported to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. Forty-two-year-old Ehren Schneider of Brighton was charged with serious assault causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor. Schneider was arrested last Thursday for pretrial release revocation on charges of  domestic abuse assault, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, for an incident in September of 2020, and possession of marijuana third or subsequent offense, and possession of burglar’s tools, both aggravated misdemeanors, and violation of a no contact order for an incident in January of 2021.
