It was a loaded Oskaloosa Boys Invite on Tuesday at Edmundson Golf Course with 16 teams competing and Washington continued their strong week by placing fifth in the 18-hole tournament.

The Demons shot a 335 to crack the top five while Pella won with a 316. Roman Roth added a runner-up medalist to his resume by carding a 75, six shots off the lead. Teague Mayer tallied an 84, Luke Beenblossom 86, Isaac Vetter 90, Grant Sobaski 92, and John Prochaska 105. Head Coach Collin Stark was pleased with his team’s performance. “Edmundson is one of my favorite courses and we played it well. To shoot a 335 was solid and for our team to get fifth against good competition is great to see. It was an opportunity for us to see where we are at.”

Washington gets back on the course Monday for the Fairfield Invite.
