The City of Columbus Junction and the Louisa Development Group, in conjunction with the Iowa State University Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business are participating in a Community and Economic Development Rural Housing Readiness Assessment Program. Residents are invited to take an assessment survey through a link posted on the city’s Facebook Page. Information gathered from this survey will be used during a pair of upcoming strategic planning sessions later in 2022, to craft an action plan for future housing development in the city. All responses are anonymous. This project is funded through a grant from the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
