Other cards included Elliott Debler 52, Kylie Reinier 53, Madi Davidson 54, Gabi Robertson 56 and Addison English 62.

The Mid-Prairie boys dropped a dual in Kalona to the Comets 180-203. Golden Hawk Drew Schlabaugh was medalist runner-up with a 43. He was beaten out for top honors by West Liberty’s Ty Jones on a cardback. Other Golden Hawk scores included Warren Scarff 48, Ben Mattes 53, Ian Schmidt 59 and Carson Pence 65. After the meet Schlabaugh and Scarff talked about the night. Schlabaugh said, “On two I put it pretty close and that was good. I have been working on driving and straightening it out.”

Scarff added, “Tonight on seven, I put one in a hazard. I was stuck in a mud mound and I surprisingly got it out with help from trees. I have been working on putting and chipping. This year it’s been impressive to see the improvement and how hard our team works.”

Both the Mid-Prairie boys and girls are off until their RVC Conference meets. The boys play at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course Tuesday while the girls travel to Peosta on Wednesday.
