A victory lap around the Fairfield track was earned by the Washington boys on Monday when they ended the regular season with a meet title at the Brookhart-Crew Relays. 

The Demons compiled 147 points on the evening to best second place Mount Pleasant by 27 in the six team field. Five events struck gold with all five recording personal record times and throws. Lance Sobaski broke his own school record in the 800m clocking in at 1:57.67. Brayden Hartman handled the throwing events winning the shot put (52’11’’) and discus (146’5’’) while Elijah Morris sprinted past everyone in the 200m (22.25). The shuttle hurdle relay also placed first in 1:04.87 with this team consisting of Tayven Stuart, James Strabala, Mason Morgan, and Austin Rebling. Second place showings included Quinn Wubbena in the 400m hurdles (58.63), Jacob Miller in the 100m (11.33), and Drew Horak in the 1600m (5:03). 

The Demon girls scaled back their load of events and finished with 60 points to finish in fourth while Mount Pleasant won with 183. One event took home the top spot with the 4x800m relay winning in 10:37.66. This squad was Kendall Hinrichsen, Abigail Kleese, Lauren Horak, and Grace Voss. Horak placed runner-up in the 800m (2:39), Quincy Griffis was third in the 1500m (5:40), 4x400m relay third (4:31), and Ally Rees third in the shot put (33’5’’).
