The Mid-Prairie boys and girls golf teams are on the course tonight for a pair of River Valley Conference duals against the Durant Wildcats. The Golden Hawk girls are coming off of a team runner-up finish at the RVC Championship meet in Peosta last week. At the meet, five Golden Hawks earned some form of all-conference honors led by Madi Davidson’s Elite-RVC performance, finishing in third place with her round of 101. On the season, Mid-Prairie is shooting a team average of 213 per nine holes, with Gabi Robertson at 55, Alexa Huber and Davidson 56, Madelyn Bender 57, Kylie Reinier 59, Elliot Debler 60 and Addison English 62.

Durant also last played in Peosta where they placed seventh of 13 teams with a score of 463 led by Karissa Hoon’s 106. On the season the Wildcats have a team average of 220 per nine holes with Hoon’s 54 leading the way. The Golden Hawks beat the Wildcats in dual action last season by a single shot.

The Mid-Prairie boys are coming off of a 14th place finish at the River Valley Championship meet last week at the Muscatine Municipal Golf Course with their team score of 395. The Hawks were led on the day by Drew Schlabaugh with his card of 88 to earn honorable mention RVC honors. On the season, Mid-Prairie has a team average of 210 per nine holes with Schlabaugh’s 47 the leader. Durant comes in after an 8th place finish at the conference meet in Muscatine on a team score of 371, where they were led by Cooper Huston and Collier Rockow’s matching 91s. On the season the Wildcats shoot 205 on average per nine holes with Rockow’s 48 the leader.

Action starts at 4p.m. with the girls on the road and the boys meet in Kalona.
