A season sweep of Southeast Conference foe Keokuk was accomplished on Thursday for the Washington girls’ soccer team when they did just enough in a 4-3 victory. 

The Demon girls held a 2-1 advantage at half with both teams playing even the rest of the way at the Washington Wellness Park. Senior Greta Rothe picked up her 21st and 22nd goal of the season while Audrey Anderson and Alex Murphy also found the back of the net. Elyse Hunt recorded nine saves at the other end. 

After the win, the Demons improved to 9-4 overall and 5-4 in the SEC.
