Probation was recently revoked for a Brighton man convicted of operating a vehicle without owner’s consent and eluding.

Fifty-one year-old Brian Ray Johnson was arrested for violating his two-year probation period this January as he was arrested in December and charged with first-degree harassment for threatening a convenience store employee in Brighton. Johnson is ordered to serve a two-year prison sentence that was suspended last November, to be served concurrently with one year jail sentences for convictions of possession of methamphetamine first offense and assault on persons in certain occupations. He shall be transported to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center at Oakdale and shall be given credit for time served. Johnson shall pay court costs and reimburse the state for court-appointed attorney’s fees.
