The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team put a cap on the regular season early this week with a pair of events featuring River Valley Conference south competition. On Monday, it was a Mid-Prairie win in a River Valley dual at Durant by a 210-219 score. Madelyn Bender was meet medalist with her team best 49. Other cards for the Hawks included Gabi Robertson 52, Elliot Debler 54, Addison English 55, Kylie Reinier 57, and Alexa Huber 58.

On Tuesday, Mid-Prairie was second in an RVC quad that included West Branch, Wilton and West Liberty at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. The Golden Hawks team score of 207 was behind only the Bears 202. The Beavers shot 212 and the Comets did not post a team score. Top card came from Elliot Debler with a 49. Other scores included Gabi Robertson 51, Madi Davidson 53, Madelyn Bender, Alexa Huber and Addison English all shot 54s. The Golden Hawks open the 2A regional tournament at home on Friday.
