As the last day of school approaches in less than two weeks for the Winfield-Mt. Union School District, the junior high music ensembles will be grazing in the grass for their last public performance Tuesday.

WMU Band Director Lindsey Pogmore says a lunchtime concert will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Winfield City Park, weather permitting. Both the junior high band and choirs will share some music before enjoying a picnic lunch. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend this event. In case of high winds or rain, Pogmore says they hope to reschedule.
